Shareholder Profile – Lee September Cape Equity’s IT fundi is flying high in Utrecht the Netherlands. Lee is Neurodivergent by Nature, Leader by Choice. 

Background: Lee September is a Senior Engineering Manager of Fintech Payment & Startup at bol.com, where he leads innovative teams to develop cutting edge solutions for one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the Netherlands. Originally from Jamestown in Stellenbosch, Lee has a diverse background in engineering leadership, having worked in banking security at Entersekt, healthcare with Vula Mobile, and agricultural software at Softlutions. He co-owns a family public transport business (Taxi's) in Stellenbosch with his father and brother and operates a software development company in his spare time with friends. Passionate about coaching and mentoring young minds through initiatives like the Mido Foundation and Mido Technologies, Lee is equally driven by his love for travelling, technology, and a slight obsession with Mini Cooper cars. Committed to fostering neurodiversity, he strives for both technical excellence and inclusive team culture. He lives in Utrecht, the Netherlands but Cape Town will always be home.
